Our main target audeince will be young women and teenage girls. We have decided to include a story alongside our video and this will follow a romantic theme with a break up which will be relatable to young women and teenage girls as it is something most will have experienced.
Our song choice reflects a slow and meaningful theme which is stereotypically listend to by girls and young women. Although we feel that it will be mainly girls that our video will be targeted at we understand that our audience could also include young males who may also have expereinced a painful breakup.
Research
We created a questionnaire which we handed out to a group of 25 people varying in age from 16-19. This helped us to understand the preferances of our age group and supplied us with vital information we need for construction of our own music video.

Conclusion
When we calculated up the feeback from a section of the students in our college (25) people we saw that as seen above the results came back that the most popular elements were;

Therefore, we decided to create our music video based on a popular, chart song and we would focus our filming on the artist itself and the appearance of the artist- including clothing, style etc.
